Jesuit Refugee Service/USA (JRS/USA) joins a coalition of 27 other US-based Catholic Groups in calling for acceptance of the vaccine as an act of charity and for equitable distribution of the vaccine in the US and around the world. Bound together by Catholic Social Teachings and Identity, this coalition is providing information and resources on issues related to COVID-19 vaccines at www.catholiccares.org.

JRS/USA has called for global vaccine equity, especially in ensuring that those who are forcibly displaced have access. JRS/USA has also asked US policymakers to continue to support refugees and forcibly displaced people here in the US and around the world by enacting just and equitable policies and funding decisions in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
