Jesuit Refugee Service/USA is proud to present our 2018 Annual Report. 2018 was a year of building bridges by serving those through pastoral and religious assistance, education, and advocacy. JRS served 677,804 people driven from their homes by persecution, war, and disasters. With 68.5 million people forcibly displaced at the beginning of 2018, this meant that JRS served one in every 100 people in the world who have had to flee their homes in search of safety.

In our 2018 Annual Report, you will read of the success of the Global Education Initiative that JRS launched at the end of 2015. With two years to go before the end of the campaign, we have already surpassed our goal of giving 250,000 people the education they need to create a future for themselves and their families. With the generous support of many people, we have also raised 81 percent of the $35 million to service the growing need for education accessibility.

Your generous support - sharing your resources, advocating to your legislators, and sharing stories of refugees with your networks and communities - allowed us to do this work in 2018
