THE CHALLENGE

More than half of refugee children in Lebanon do not have access to formal education. One of the most significant barriers to access education is safe and reliable transportation.

THE SOLUTION

Providing transportation to all students at JRS schools in Lebanon.

Because of YOUR generosity on Giving Tuesday, we reached our $30,000 goal to help provide safe and reliable transportation for refugee children in Lebanon. We raised more than $16,000, each dollar of which has been matched by the Frankel Family Foundation, that will go directly to refugee students in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. More students will now have a seat in the classroom!

Education must be a priority - we know it will provide a better future for the kid, but they must first get to school safely in order to be educated. Transportation makes the difference in what refugee children are exposed to as they travel to school.
