The October 10 event in Washington DC is a reception honoring Fr. Leo J. O’Donovan, S.J. and proceeds benefit JRS’s Global Education Initiative, a multi-year effort to provide education programs for 250,000 refugees each year.

The second event will be held at The Lotos Club in New York City on November 14 and honors Lidia Bastianich for her support for refugee education. The intimate dinner is an annual event commemorating Jesuit Refugee Service’s 39^th anniversary.
