Protect Refugee Admissions in the U.S.
01 November 2019

Recent news reports have indicated that the U.S. will not admit any refugees in the month of October due to a pause in the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program, leaving hundreds of refugees in limbo. This follows an announcement last month that only 18,000 refugees will be allowed into the U.S. in Fiscal Year 2020.
We must oppose these barriers to offering some of the world’s most vulnerable refugees the protection they so desperately need.
Today, All Saints Day, is an opportunity to remember our connectedness as Christians. We honor the lives and deaths of all saints, including those who remind us to stand in solidarity with migrants and refugees.
