COVID-19 continues to pose a threat to refugee communities in Uganda, limiting education and job opportunities. JRS is working to ensure refugees have access to these opportunities as well as necessary physical items, and psychosocial support. 

Our priority activities are:

• distributing food
• rent assistance
• supplementing emergency supplies
• providing hygiene kits
• installing hand-washing stations in camps with limited sanitation
• raising awareness around COVID-19 prevention and social distancing

The Sisters of the Holy Family have provided a match of $20,000 toward the goal of $30,000.
