JRS Middle East and North Africa

Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) accompanies refugees and displaced communities through education, mental health services, livelihoods programs, and emergency assistance across Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria.

The Middle East and North Africa region has experienced some of the largest displacement crises in recent history. Conflicts in Syria and Iraq, economic collapse in Lebanon, and regional instability have forced millions of people from their homes. Many refugees and internally displaced people face barriers to education, employment, healthcare, and legal protection.
