Please join us for the 2024 JRS/USA Speakers Tour: Panel Discussion with Mental Health Experts to learn more about access to mental health services for migrants and asylum seekers, including those at the US-Mexico border.
Meet the Speakers:
JRS/USA Staff: Katie Mullins-Ali & Adalberto Sanchez
Eric C. Chen professor of counseling psychology and director of the Clinical Mental Health Services Program at Fordham’s Graduate School of Education. His current research programs focus on educational and career pursuits of legal and undocumented immigrant students and LGBTQ issues and health.
Mónica Sánchez is the Director of Mental Health Services at LSA Family Health Service
in New York City. She has overseen the Mental Health Services Program (MHSP) at LSA for almost 10 years. Sánchez’s work focuses on providing high-quality therapeutic interventions for immigrant women who have experienced trauma.
