Jesuit Refugee Service/USA is proud to present the 2021 Annual Report, Rooted in Hope.
Rooted in Hope, describes the inherent resiliency and unwavering hope demonstrated by staff, supporters, and most importantly nearly one million refugees across the world. It demonstrates the never-ending support towards the JRS mission as we collectively accompany, serve, and advocate for the most vulnerable. Together, we weathered multiple storms while we strengthened our roots beneath us.
2021 brought an onset of crises that continue to contribute to the ever growing number of those displaced, which was at an overwhelming 89.3 million by the end of the year. Despite this, we’ve remained hopeful as we’ve had the opportunity to provide support to refugee brothers and sisters in 57 countries.
We hope the stories included in this report illustrate our roots’ strength despite the unimaginable storms of 2021.
