US Refugee Resettlement

In September of 2021, the Biden Administration set a refugee admissions goal of 125,000 in Fiscal Year 2022, an increase from the prior administration. While this is progress in the right direction, we must ensure that this goal is met. The US has a moral obligation to welcome refugees and we encourage you to join us in advocating on their behalf.

“We’re in a moment of history when displaced people need our help more than ever. More than 80 million people have been forced to flee their homes, the highest levels in recent history.”

Joan Rosenhauer, JRS/USA Executive Director
