As we closely monitor the unfolding tragedy in Sudan, our thoughts are with those who have been affected and we pray that there is no further loss of life. While JRS does not have a presence in Sudan, we know that the conflict is forcing people from their homes and leading them to seek safety in surrounding countries where we work, including South Sudan, Chad, the Central African Republic and others. Our teams are assessing the needs and preparing to respond to those forced to flee Sudan. We will continue to provide updates on this crisis as it unfolds.
