Afghans walking in Kabul, Afghanistan

Take Action

Urge your members of Congress to support an Afghan Adjustment Act.

In August 2021, Afghanistan was plunged into chaos following the U.S. military withdrawal and takeover by the Taliban.

Tens of thousands of Afghans fled for their lives and continue to struggle to find safety and security.

The good news is that the U.S. welcomed over 88,000  at-risk Afghans via a temporary immigration status known as humanitarian parole and they are rebuilding their lives with the support of Americans across the U.S.

Yet, many find themselves under a cloud of legal uncertainty that can be remedied with passage of an Afghan Adjustment Act. This legislation would allow these Afghans to apply for lawful permanent resident status, the same legal status they would have received had they been admitted as refugees.

Please take a moment today to take action on behalf of our Afghan brothers and sisters by calling on your members of Congress to support passage of an Afghan Adjustment Act.
