Oppose Proposed Cuts to Refugee Funding

The House of Representatives is proposing significant cuts to refugee funding as it prepares its FY24 budget proposal.

At a time when more than 108 million people are currently forcibly displaced from their homes, a cut in funding by the House of Representatives demonstrates an abdication of U.S. leadership.

The U.S. must do more, not less, to meet the growing global need as refugees face the loss of access to lifesaving programs that provide food, water, shelter, healthcare, and education. Please join JRS/USA in calling on your policymakers to reverse funding cuts proposed by the House of Representatives and provide sufficient funding to address the very real challenges faced by refugees around the world.
