Take Action
Protect Those Displaced by Climate Change
Nearly 20 million people are forced to flee their homes due to climate-fueled disasters every year. Yet, people displaced by climate change lack formal protections under U.S. immigration law.
The Climate Displaced Persons Act would provide a more equitable immigration pathway to the U.S. for people displaced by climate change as well as critical support for people affected by climate disasters internationally.
