Take Action

Support Sudanese Refugees and Others Affected by Conflict

The number of people forced from their homes due to persecution, conflict, and violence has now reached an estimated 110 million. This includes those who have been displaced due to the outbreak of conflict in Sudan in April 2023, resulting in 8.5 million forcibly displaced people (6.5 million internally and 1.8 million in neighboring countries).

The US has long been a leader in supporting humanitarian needs around the world and Congress must continue to invest in programs that ensure displaced persons have access to life-saving programs that provide food, housing, and education.
