Lord, help us to recognize your presence in our brothers and sisters who have been forced to leave their homes.

May we see you in the crucified people of this world.

May we continue to live self-giving, and love filled lives, while refusing to turn away from the cross and from all those nailed to it.

Help us, Lord, to praise your cross by serving and accompanying our refugee brothers and sisters.

May your death be a constant reminder that we are called to build a future of welcome, fraternity and shared life.
